MVEA Issues Demand to Bargain - August RIFs
The District administration informed MVEA yesterday that it intends to proceed with August RIFs. MVEA has issued a demand to bargain the process and criteria for the RIFs.
The Board of Education has taken no formal action the August RIFs. A resolution will go to the Board for discussion on July 10, 2009.
MVEA has issued a demand to bargain on the procedures and criteria for the RIF. This will be the first agenda item for the July 8, 2009 bargaining session.
MVEA is continuing to work to support all members. We will need your support and will be in contact with you so you can participate in the process.
